You'd look sweet, upon the seat of a bicycle made for 2...

So get your bottoms on our tandem, rides on Boltolph street between 12&2pm. Come and celebrate cycling and remember the folk that have traversed Magdalen and Augustine streets on their fabulous bicycles for decades.

Photo: "You'd look sweet upon the seat of a bicycle built for two..." Between 10am and 12pm, you can take a ride on a tandem. Used in the Second Anglo-Boer War, these two-man bicycles became popular in the late 19th century. The high-tech tandem bikes used in the Paralympic Games are a far cry from the original 'Daisy Bell' design. Tours begin from Botolph Street and traverse the whole length of St Augustine's and Magdalen Street. Don't miss out!
